I came here for dinner with a friend one night. The directions to this restaurant are a bit confusing as it doesn't locate it exactly but nonetheless I found it. The ambiance of the restaurant was dim but not too dim, and quiet. I was a bit thrown off by the elementary school classroom chairs. They were really low, uncomfortable, and not tall person friendly. I ordered the drunken noodles with shrimp and decided to forgo any appetizer options. The drunken noodles were flavorful and really spicy how I prefer them to be. I wouldn't dine in again but I'd definitely order takeout.

I've only ever gotten takeout from Beau Thai, so I can't speak to the environment inside. The shrimp cakes are a delicious appetizer and come with a sweet chili dipping sauce. I always go with the pad thai which is the best in DC. As you can see however it's a small portion. Prices have been going up and it looks like it's now $17 which in my opinion is overpriced for what it is. I may order from them again when I have a craving, but hard to justify.
